Strong win sees Carib in cruise control
An excellent display saw Carib dominate in a well fought 4-2 victory against Loughborough Galaxy.
After being hit by pre-match injuries, Ahmed Chaouali bravely stepped up for his first game in goal & did not disappoint, making some excellent saves throughout the match & commanding his goal area well.
Carib went in 1-0 up at half-time after a fantastic solo effort from Mo Abdulzahra, but two quick second half strikes turned the tide in Galaxy’s favour the before Zain Matin made it 2-2 with his first goal for Carib. A third soon followed when a good work by Rayan Alhawas was rewarded with a nice close range finish by Isaiah Thomas-Lindsey & late on Matin popped up with his second of the match to seal the 4-2 victory.
With Carib having to play well everywhere, Kye Johnson-Jeffrey performed especially well in the centre of the defence & both Thomas-Lindsey & Abdul Mangara putting in a strong shift in the heart of the midfield.
Goal of the Day – Mo Abdulzahra
Man of the Match – Abdul Mangara
