A step up in class
Carib Windrush took a huge step in the right direction with a comfortable 3-0 win against Studs FC
In a very fast paced first-half, Windrush took the lead after an Isaiah Thomas-Lindsey cross was calmly slotted in on the far post by Che Hassain. Hassain got his second soon after following more good work by Thomas-Lindsey and a lay off by Josh Readdie. Malachi Hope had to be alert on a few occasions but dealt with everything superbly & the Windrush defence played very well, keeping everything else at bay. A late goal from Kush Walters gave Windrush a 3-0 half-time lead.
With lots of substitutions made, Windrush took some time to settle down but passed the ball well & were unlucky on a few occasions. Studs pressed for a goal but Motassim Suleman controlled everything & Rayan Alhawas mopped up everything else.
Windrush deserved their win but will be tested again next Sunday when they play Birstall Cubs
Goal of the Day – Che Hassain
Man of the Match – Isaiah Thomas-Lindsey
