A fantastic day out and almost another fairy tale ending as Carib SSFC made it to their second successive LDML Cup Final.
In beautiful weather & with a positive spirit, Carib set out to retain the trophy they won last season only to come up short in the final, eventually losing on penalties to cup winners Oadby Town.

A tonne of missed chances saw Carib Windrush heading home very early in this year’s Thurmaston Cup competition.
Despite plenty of effort, good play & shots on goal, Windrush failed to hit the back of the net in any of their group matches & were surprisingly eliminated before the knockout stage.

A fantastic day of football & a few big steps in the right direction saw Carib Windrush finish 3rd in their group and suffer an unfortunate early exit from this years Birstall Cup.
It what proved to be the final Windrush outing before next seasons squad merger, the whole team played with heart & passion to draw what’s been a fantastic season to a close.
